New Years Update
2025 seems to have been a rough year for everyone, and it was certainly no different for me. I really struggled through the last few months of this year, and spent a long time in a place that was very dark. Thankfully I have a truly wonderful group of friends and family who helped me through that dark patch, and I’m lucky to be ending the year in a much better place than I was even just a month ago.
Going forward into 2026 I will be restructuring how I approach my work. For those reading this that will probably not mean seeing very much of a change, but that’s actually part of the point. I want to take steps to make sure I can keep doing what I’m doing, because I know how incredibly lucky I am to have supported myself with art for over a decade, and I do not want to stop. I love what I do, and I love the community that has allowed me to do it for the last 16 years. I will continue to take commissions and post comics (hopefully more than this past year!), but I will also be making more of an effort to branch out to secure other kinds of illustration work.
The most visible change will be that I recently increased my prices for the first time since before the pandemic. That was a scary move for me, and I am immensely grateful to everyone who feels that my work is worth the cost and who are still submitting commission requests!
Another change you will hopefully see is that I will be a little more active in general. For the first time in a very long time I actually have a New Years resolution, and that is to engage more with the community. I have been withdrawing more and more over the years, but I think now more than ever people need to connect with each other, even if it’s just dropping a friendly comment every now and so often. I want to reconnect with the people that have been supporting me for over a decade.
(Within reason, I have been and will always be a pretty private person).

I try my best to keep the archive up to date, and if you’re only following me somewhere else then it’s very likely that there’s some stuff in there you’ve missed!
The world has become a very scary place lately. That’s true today, and despite what the calendar says it will be true tomorrow. Find the people and the things in your life that bring you joy and comfort and keep them close. We’re all in this together.
